Download the app
Tap the button above on your Android phone. The .apk file downloads in a few seconds.
Allow the install
Android asks you to allow installs from your browser. Tap “Settings”, turn on “Allow from this source”, then go back.
Open the file
Open the download notification or find the file in “Downloads”. Tap it to start the install.
Install
Google Play Protect may show a warning (normal for apps outside the Play Store). Tap “Install anyway”. Done!
About the “unknown source” warning
Android shows this warning for any app that isn’t installed from the Google Play Store. It doesn’t mean the app is unsafe — it’s just an Android precaution. Our .apk is signed with our official developer key, exactly like a Play Store app.

Frequently asked questions
Why not on the Play Store?
For now we let you download the app directly. It’s the same file we would publish on the Play Store — just without Google’s review, which can take several days per update.
Is it safe?
The app is cryptographically signed with our developer key — the same mechanism Play Store apps use. Android’s “unknown source” warning only means you’re installing outside the Play Store, not that the app is dangerous.
How do updates work?
The app’s content (your bookings, calendar, settings) updates automatically every time you open it — no re-download. You only need a new .apk if we change the icon, the name or the Android version, and we’ll email you when that happens.
What about iPhone (iOS)?
The iOS app is in the works. Meanwhile, you can use HomestAI on iPhone straight from Safari — tap “Share”, then “Add to Home Screen”. It feels almost exactly like a native app.
How big is the app?
About 1 MB to download and very little space once installed — the app is a light shell that opens HomestAI full screen.
